Ella Shali's home

Honestly the best place in Ella! The room is huge, almost like a villa with my own balcony with a very nice view!! It is also equipped of everything you need — hair blower, refrigerator and even raincoats and umbrella are provided (very thoughtful 😊). The room is very clean and the bed is huge!! And the pillows are just the best, always having a good night sleep after a long day of work and sightseeing. Shashikala also makes very delicious breakfast, she’s so sweet and she always checks on you. Amazing service and just really really beautiful place! I love working in the balcony, all you can hear is the sound of nature, which is very relaxing! The cat who visits there is also very sweet 💗 Thank you Shashikala, all the best to you and your family 🫶🏻

The internet signal is not the best but it’s understandable as I think that’s how it is in most places in Ella. I was still able to work so it’s all good and not a problem at all 😊

Nette Unterkunft etwas außerhalb des Zentrums. Sauberes Zimmer mit großer Terrasse und vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Leckeres, großes Frühstück. Restaurants, Shops und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auch fußläufig mit kurzem Spaziergang erreichbar.

The best pillow I slept on in Sri Lanka! Such a great stay, everything was perfect and the view from the balcony was superb. The hostess cooked us great breakfast and we also had dinners there, delicious! Away from the busy hassle of all restaurants but still in walking distance.

Beste Homestay van hele reis. Shali was fijne gastvrouw. We komen ook ‘s avonds daar eten. Broer regelde en vervoerde ons met tuk tuk naar activiteiten.

Amazing breakfast, super friendly host. Peace and quiet surroundings with only wildlife as background noise. Room was perfect and it has all the essentials, even a fridge! If you don't mind walking, the major tourist sights are about a 35 minutes walk away (to the start of their respective trails)

The green surroundings do require a bit of a stroll to get into town. A 15 minute walk does the trick, fine when it is dry, less fun in a downpour 😄. There are tuktuk drivers once you are at the main road should you wish to give your legs a rest.

Lieu calme à quelques minutes de la ville, en hauteur Petits déj fabuleux et repas excellents. Vous mangez sur la terrasse avec les singes ! Lit confortable et le tout est propre et bien entretenu. L'hôte est adorable, aux petits soins et souriante. Je recommande ce lieu pour votre visite à Ella !
