Tout était parfait! Petit déjeuner exceptionnel, massage d'accueil très bien et très apprécié, établissement vraiment top et très bien placé! Les restaurants de l'hôtel sont très bien et il y a également d'autres restaurants à proximité.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The food choice was abundant and delicious! The complimentary afternoon tea was also nice. Great location and close to the train station.

Pool was a little shadedwith the trees so the sun never really hit it that much. Still a relaxing pool though.

Hotel Tugu Malang nos enamoró completamente. Más que un hotel, parece un museo vivo. Cada sala, cada pasillo y cada rincón están llenos de obras de arte, antigüedades, fotografías y objetos históricos que convierten la estancia en una experiencia cultural además de hotelera. Da la sensación de estar durmiendo dentro de la historia de Java. La ubicación es fantástica, justo en una de las zonas más bonitas y agradables de Malang, una ciudad que nos sorprendió muchísimo. Después del caos de otras ciudades indonesias, Malang conserva todavía un aire colonial muy especial, tranquilo, verde y elegantísimo. Pasear por sus calles fue una auténtica delicia. El edificio del hotel y toda su ambientación son espectaculares, pero además el trato del personal fue impecable: amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. La habitación era comodísima y el ambiente general del hotel tiene algo mágico, como detenido en el tiempo. Honestamente, ha sido uno de los hoteles con más personalidad en los que hemos estado nunca.

Sinceramente, muy poco. Quizá algunas personas prefieran hoteles más modernos o minimalistas, porque aquí todo tiene una estética histórica y muy recargada, casi museística. Pero precisamente eso es lo que hace único al lugar. Para nosotros fue parte fundamental del encanto.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, nur 5 Min. zu Fuß vom Bahnhof von Malang. Hotelanlage ist schön, Charakterlich eine Art Museum im Grünen Stadtdschungel. Wer zu Besuch kommt sollte unbedingt das SPA aufsuchen - die inklusive Welcome-Massage war unglaublich. Buffet war sehr gut.

Die Einrichtung des Bades und der Zimmer sind nicht „State of the Art“ (Lichtschalter, Möbel etc) - sollten modernisiert werden (auch wenn es zum royalen kolonialen Charm des Hotels passt, man muss es halt selbst mögen). Wer früh die Region von Malang (bspw. Tumpak Sewu Wasserfälle & Goa Tetes) erkunden möchte, sollte viel Zeit für das a lá Card Frühstück mitbringen. Beim Buffet ist das nicht der Fall (hatten beides, je nach Auslastung des Hotels)

What a completely amazing place. It was like a warren of wondrous discovery. Areas like a museum, hidden corners, little oasis of quiet, beautiful food, fabulous staff - you won’t want to leave. The 15 min free massage was a great little addition. The free afternoon tea introduced us to lovely local deserts and unusual teas. With the constant, very quiet background gamelan music the atmosphere was very relaxed.

We did have to ask to swop rooms as the ones at the front got quite a lot of road noise and we preferred shutters on the windows to keep it darker. But that is our choice - just to be aware.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. A special mention to the staff, both at the reception and the restaurant, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They truly made the experience much better for us. The hotel area was also very pleasant and relaxing. Overall, a great experience thanks to the amazing service and atmosphere.
