Ridho's Homestay & Jungle Trekking

Personnel très sympathique, la chambre est très grande, et la vue très agréable!

Pas assez de pression dans la douche, nous nous sommes douchés assis sous le « robinet »…

Deze homestay is echt geweldig. Wij hebben het hier ontzettend naar ons zin gehad. Ik zou iedereen aanraden hier te verblijven. De jungletrek die we via hier hebben geboekt was ook geweldig, de gidsen maakten het helemaal af en zorgde ervoor dat we niets tekort kwamen. Wij zouden hier zeker weer heen gaan!

A wonderful, spacious and room with a great view of the river. The terrace is a good place to sit and watch it while having breakfast or a drink. The location is perfect, on a more quiet side of Bukit Lawang, but with lots of options around for eating (loved the bread from next door's NatureSoul!) Spacious and very clean bathroom with hot water. Dedek is a great host, very welcoming, and making sure that everything was ok for me. He arranged a 2d/1n jungle trek with a small group, which was awesome, thanks to guides Edwin and Riswan. Highlight of my stay in Sumatra!

Rien , tout était parfait

The room was right on the water’s edge. We could get into the river from right next to our room. DD was very helpful when we arrived and gave us lots of useful information. He also arranged a jungle trek for us with Johnny and Donny. They couldn’t have been more amazing! The food was outstanding and we were helped at every step. We saw 5 orangutans and the tubing back was fabulous too.

We just absolutely loved this place! It was at the start of our Sumatra trip and this place was probably one of the cleanest and nicest places we stayed at. With a family of five we had both rooms to ourselves. Dedek and his team did everything in their power to cater to our needs. It felt very personal. It is a bit away from the much bigger and fancier places, which also makes the spot quieter and more personal. The pancakes in the morning and the juice was great. And the jungle trekking was amazing! Again, our guide Johnny made sure we had the best spots to make the nicest pictures. Him and Tony made a really nice fruit salad and took us to a nice stream to enjoy lunch, always checking if it was safe and free of monkeys. Also they organised a bike tour which was great as well. We absolutely recommend this place!

A/c and hot water. Clean with a beautiful view. Coffee shop downstairs next to the home stay serves hot bread and has an espresso machine. Location is good, next to the river and near exit from rafting back from the jungle. We did not book tours with the hotel but it seems all the hotels pull guides from the same pool and I’m sure they can set up anything you want to do. I would recommend coming back to the home stay each night to shower and relax in the a/c to rejuvenate before another day of hiking.

No shampoo but can be bought for 25 cents at the corner store.

It's a great location. Views over the river. Very clean. Lovely breakfast brought to our rooms each morning by Dedek's wife. The homestay booked airport transfer, a cookery class, and jungle trek in advance. Whilst there, Dedek arranged a visit to the Bat caves and BBQ by the river. All the activities and excursions were excellent. We saw several Orangutans on our one day trek and then travelled back to the hotel by river.
