Ebor Place - Victorian Home - Free Parking - Central

A typical York house in a quiet neighborhood, with exceptionally easy parking (!) and in perfect walking distance to the centre.

Some additional hooks and a ventilator in the bathroom would make things even better, but it's a great place to stay with a very friendly host (thanks, Rachel!).

Really well equipped and comfortable house. Excellent location - some lovely shops and restaurants on Bishy Road just a few hundred yards from the front door and less than 15 minutes walk into the centre of York.

The decor is a little tired but I can’t say that really bothered us.

Excellent stay! The location is perfect—very convenient and close to everything. The accommodation was spotless and well-organized. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made a big difference after a long day. The TV and internet worked perfectly, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for a great stay. Overall, everything was just right. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Property was located in a convenient location and was dog friendly.

Sofa was a little uncomfortable to sit on. Road is very narrow especially when cars are parked on both sides, making it difficult to manoeuvre. Although we had problems with the parking permit and had to move our car, Rachel quickly resolved the issue and we were able to move the car back to outside the property.

We had a wonderful experience with Ebor Place House in York. The house is absolutely lovely and perfectly located — right on the doorstep of York city centre, which made everything very convenient for exploring the area. The property was spotlessly clean, cosy, and very welcoming, with a beautiful outdoor yard that was a really nice bonus. My parents stayed there and felt comfortable from the moment they arrived. Rachel has been incredibly helpful from the time I made the booking. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she made sure the arrival process was smooth and stress-free. She also checked that my parents had settled in well, which was very thoughtful. All the instructions and useful local information were clearly prepared in a welcome book on the table, and the parking permit was easy to find — everything was very well organised. A big thank you to Rachel for hosting my parents and also to the housekeeping team for maintaining such a high standard of cleanliness. We will definitely be booking again next year. Highly recommended!

Very good location, the house is clean, everything you need is there, very good contact with Rachel, I won't write about parking, but it's the center of York. Generally *10

Location was good - about at 15min walk into the main city centre. Easy walk to nearby coffee shops etc. All facilities were great and a good size lounge, kitchen for our large family of 6.

The listings of beds was not accurate and different to what was pictured. Thankfully the host explained before we arrived, and used the sofa bed instead.
