GBA lovely rustic cottage recently renovated to a very nice standard. There are stunning views of the nearby pennines and the lake district in the distance.

GBThe location was perfect in the beautiful village of Cumwhitton. Easy to get to following Sat Nav. Plenty of parking in the pub car park. Private yard to the side and rear of the cottage, accessed by a gate at the front or side door of cottage. Perfect for me to sit in and also safe for my two dogs. Downstairs a kitchen diner space with fridge freezer, hob & combination oven grill microwave. Coffee machine, kettle toaster etc Lovely spacious bathroom upstairs with walk in shower. Lovely light airy bedroom at the rear with super comfy bed. Plenty of storage space for my clothes and bits n pieces. Living room with leather sofa and chair....biggest TV ever. Decorated in a stylish contemporary way. You are attached to the pub next door about a ten foot walk to the front door!!! They only open late afternoon so totally peaceful through the day and on an evening you can her the chatter of people drinking and eating which was fine with me. There was a live band on the Saturday night which I sat and listened to in the side yard. I had my dogs with me so didn't take them out to the pub seating as they would have pestered people to play. It was a lovely evening listening to live music, sipping my wine with my dogs!! Met the owner several times and he was fab. Had food at the pub on Sunday and it was excellent....totally dog friendly inside and out of the pub and of course the cottage.
I couldn't find a tin opener and I forgot to bring one .....had to take my hotdogs home HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
GBThe small cottage was delightful and in a beautiful location and even next to a pub! The cottage was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean throughout and there was a small patio area to sit out in.
