Fabio is a great host, really up to the task, anything you need and he is instantly available to help and really kind about it. We really didn't spend too much time inside so everything was okay for this short stay. And it's for a good price also.

Maybe a bit smelly, I guess it's the buildings condition, you can't do too much about it.

I liked the location of the property. It is close to the center, it has a minimarket nearby and a MUST VISIT local "Donut" Shop.

-The most important thing to know is PARKING. Technically, it exists and it is free. The sad truth is that it is never available(and I've been there in march). So, if you go on a vacation with your own car and you are in search of a free parking location, this is not the place for you! PS: If you are going with a rental, CASCO insurance is a MUST! -We've stayed for 5 nights and we wore provided with only one towel set/person. When asked about it, Fabio provided another set but not without making sure that I understood that he was doing us a favor. The quality of the towels was really poor. -The temperature in the boiler was too low(40 degrees C) and because of that it was difficult for two persons to take consecutive showers without planing ahead. -The mattress should be changed... -The two little electrical heaters that are provided helped but did not manage to get the room to comfort temperature at night.

The flat looks exactly like on the photos, it has amazing vibe and you can feel there like at home. It has every necessary facility, cleaning items, working laundry machine, fridge, tv, bluetooth speaker, variety of boardgames, fresh towels, some bottled water in the fridge, kitchen where you can cook your own food, comfortable living room area, is very spacious. There are electric heaters in bathroom and other rooms so when you feel cold you can easily warm up. WiFi is very good, we never had any problems with the internet connection. Windows/balcony in the bedroom are fronting quite busy street but at night it gets much calmer and when you close the balcony door the noise is not disturbing (i am a light sleeper and i never woke up at night because of the sounds of cars/people outside). The apartment is located in great area (all those tourist places are like 10-15minutes walking distance, 20minutes walking to the beach), there are various shops with food, beverages and any useful things around and we never felt like in danger there (no matter if we were outside during the day/night) so I dont really understand other reviews where people are writing that this district is dangerous (there were always some local guys around, mostly older people just enjoying there italian life - NO THREAT!) Fabio is a very friendly host who answered all our question with a great patience, helped us many times and was availabe on WhatsApp all the time and recommended us some great activities.

More like a tip for a host rather than complaining: i would add some more bigger cups for a hot drinks, there is also no electric kettle but you can always boil some water for a tea or coffee in a pot (there is a big variety of them in kitchen cabins) - not a big deal. To get to the apartment you have to climb a lot of narrow stairs (its on third floor) - tip for people with small children and with some health problems (we had no problem with that because after whole day of eating all those italian delicious food we appreciated this form of workout :D). Sometimes at night you can hear ghosts wondering around walls in bedroom but they are very friendly and they have only good intentions :D (i guess some pigeons or other fauna creatures are running around the floor above the apartment and its audible in bedroom but it didnt really disturbed us)

Fabio (the owner) was very helpful, nothing was a problem for him. The apartment is very close to the city centre (walking distance), it was clean and had a certain spirit.

The building in which you can find the flat, looks a bit scary , especially when you enter it, at the first sight. Soon you will get used to it and you realize that it was just a first impression, that there is probably no need to worry.

This place is huge and has awesome vibe. I highly recommend for fans of old Sicilian architecture. Balcony has amazing view for Via Plebiscito with a lot of street food options. Main attractions are very close, Alibas from/to airport 7 min walk. Fabio’s place will be your home in Catany even you need something for longer stay because is equipped with every small pieces and utensils. Fabio was my the best host ever!

Nice stylish flat in a very busy area near the center. It's older but has its atmosphere. It's on the 3rd floor, but nothing challenging. There is a bakery and a small shop just across the street. Very friendly and helpfull owner.

The apartament is really amazing. The photos are 100% accurate. All the utilities you need for a short or a long stay. Also, coffee powder, sugar, salt, olive oil and a bottle of water. Thank you! Wifi worked perfectly all the time. Really fast. I would like to highlight the kids' toys, my two children simply loved the place because of the variety of things to do. Re parking, we easily found free parking at Piazza San Cristoforo just 2 blocks away from the apartment. The place is a 5-minute walk to Castelo Ursino and a 10-minute walk from Piazza Duomo. Grocery stores, Macelleria, Pharmacies, Paneficio, Fruits and Veggies everything just across the street. There is no A/C, but the weather was great in October.

Although it was a great location regarding touristic attractions, the neighborhood does not make you feel very safe. It looks like it is a little hostile. Not a thing helped to us, but this was a negative side. Also, please be advise that there are three stores of steps with no lift. We have two kids under the age of 4 and it did not stopped us from booking. But do not go there thinking it will be easy, there are 80 steps to climb to get to the apartment.

The appartment is big and well equipped. There are nearby shops with groceries and it is relatively close (800 m) to the Urbino castle, the fish market and the south part of Via Etna with its plazas and historical buildings nearby. For its price it is fine.

It is advertised as having AC. But it doesn't have one. There is a fan in one room and then a water-based cooler/humidifier in another. There were no instructions how to operate it, so I had to download an instruction manual. Anyway, it wasn't very effective in cooling the ~4m high room right under the roof with outside temperatures over 30C in August. The part of the city, where the appartment is located was quite loud with a lot of traffic noise and not very clean streets around. Parking was somewhat problematic but that is expected in Italian towns with very narrow streets.

Beautiful, cozy apartment. Close to the main central landmarks. There are plenty of small local shops around, perfect to have everything you need nearby. The apartment is very well equipped to have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fabio is an amazing host, very helpful and accommoding, fast responding. He made us feel very welcome and supported. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Catania

The street outside can be quite busy. If you are a light sleeper, easily disturbed by any small noise, you might want to bring earplugs just in case. we stayed in the apartment for 6 nights and had a good night sleep every single night without earplugs.
