Station Guesthouse - Self entry via keypad inc parking

This truly is a little gem of a place. A lovely cottage feel with lovely flowered entrance. Was quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. No hustle and bustle. The room was of a good size double. The bed very comfortable. En-suite more than adequate. The shower, 10 out of 10.. really powerful and invigorating to boost you into the day ahead. Having very large window gave the room a lot of natural daylight, I would whole heartedly recommend this guest house. Extremely convenient to the station being just 100 yards from stepping out the station. For what you pay I felt I received a very good deal. I am returning there for a couple of nights stay in 5 days time.

The weather was extremely hot this day resulting in a hot room. Some sort of fan in the room would have been a great welcome.

Close to the train station so i didn'thave to lug my bags far. Convenient to the castle and town centre. Nobody bothered me.

Close to the train station, but ear plugs were provided bedside. Shower was a bit cramped for a fat guy but had good pressure. I hate duvets and there were no other options, so i didn't sleep well. There was no hot water when I got there, but British plumbing is weird so I couldn't be sure i wasn't doing something wrong. I took a cold sink bath and sent a message asking how to get hot water. The boiler had gone out. I wasn't the idiot this time.

Location was very good. The room was pleasant.

The shower went from boiling hot to freezing and back again numerous times. No staff on site was a bit weird to be honest.

Basic, but has everything you need for the price. Recommended as a budget stay. Lovely owner, very responsive

A bit tired and needs updating,garish bed sheets and towels and the shower tray filled up when using it so you had to be quick in the shower,there were hairs stuck to the shower wall when we arrived which was a bit off putting

Slightly noisy from the road. Trains were not a problem.

Very reasonable price. Easy to read instructions for access. Shower room spotless, bed quite comfy.

The WiFi password info, very long password, could do with it being a,QR code. A little bit of dust and cobweb above the kettle area.
