"Ty Daisy was just right for our needs."

The location is good. The house is very well equipped, for example the washing/dryer machine. It was a nice touch that some local tasty food was provides in the fridge. A parking space, admittedly, a tight fit, helped a great deal. A Skoda SK Scala 1.0 fitted the space.

The effect of the bedrooms being partially in the roof made them warmer than expected. If we knew, we would have brought our summer pyjamas with us. Windows can be opened to help with it though.

"Cosy house in quiet little village"

Cosy house with sleeping for five, ideal for a family. Modern throughout with well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, again ideal for a family. Very clean and everything you'd expect for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was excellent. Great location as close to main roads and ideal for exploring south Wales as we did. Village has good amenities, including shops, takeaways, and pubs. Also a petrol station. Would highly recommend.

The place feels very homely there was everything you needed plus more the little extras that you get just tops it off amazing, what a place and what a village

"An excellent few days spent in lovely surroundings, within a short stroll of a couple of good pubs."

Excellent location; quiet, perfect base for walking the canal towpath. The quality of the bacon, sausages and black pudding supplied by the host can best be described as sensational.

Something to sit on in the courtyard would have been handy. Maybe a couple of foldup chairs by the back door - just a thought.

"Perfect stay in all aspects!!"

Clean, tidy and well equipped. Washing machine is big plus when on a week long tour. Near to Spar petrol station and shop/post office. Near to motorways. House has a bath-tub. Complimentary wine, welsh cakes, milk, eggs.. thanks to the wonderful owner. She was very helpful to communicate with booking agency when we had to cut short our trip by a day. Overall, full marks.

"A real home from home, perfectly situated for Gilwern village"

Absolute little gem. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay plus more. Fay was incredibly helpful and thoughtful with the extra little touches. Particularly enjoyed the Prosecco 😉

We were 4 adults so couldn’t all fit on the sofa, one extra easy chair would be perfect
