Clean and tidy - nice comfy beds. Showers had power which was lovely after a long walk. The sausages/eggs/bacon and black pudding was a lovely treat for the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely superb. Just couldn't fault a thing. Beautiful house, quirky features, and fantastic hospitality.

They left a nice food and drink welcome pack, the house was very clean and within walking distance of 'The Towpath' - a good pub/coffee shop.

There was only one sofa - suggest adding a small armchair in place of the upright storage unit. Parking space very tight - suggest adding a reflective strip on wall as it was difficult to get into in the dark especially given the wall is painted grey.

A one minute walk from the high street and towpath, on-site parking, nice compact 2-bed house with a bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms for convenience and a second one off the living room but with a spa-like entrance in between. The host, faye, had the heating on for my arrival, sausages, bacon, eggs and black pudding ready in the fridge along with a 4 pinter of milk. There was a helpful brochure for the area (cab and takeaway numbers as well as recommended walks). No-one over-looked the yard and there was very little passing pedestrian or vehicular traffic. The rushing river on the other side of the road and down quite a steep drop was lovely to hear on leaving the house and there was no noise from neighbours/traffic etc at any time.
