Ty Daisy, Gilwern

Delightful cottage in a great location, it was very welcoming and Fay was very helpful when we had an issue with the fire alarms.

The property is spacious and well equipped, in the kitchen as well as the living room. The downstairs toilet feels like I'm walking to a spa, it's very nicely decorated everywhere too. The hosts are super nice and accommodating, even after my mistake with my booking dates so that was really appreciated. There is also a spectacular view of the landscape from the front door. The beds were comfortable and we were very grateful to have more than one pillow each for appropriate neck support, especially after an intense day of hiking.

A lovely home! I felt so spoilt to have this beautiful gem of a home for 4 days! Everything was spotlessly clean, towels soft and fluffy, bed linen crisp and of such good quality, wonderful hot showers and lovely owners! Thank you for my wonderful stay and I will be returning! Oh yes, and the village is quiet and 15 minutes away from Abergavenny! Ideal location!

Very private.

A super comfortable cottage, with interesting feature stone interior steps up to a second bathroom (with a fabulous shower!) from the sitting area. Lovely welcome pack (Welsh Dragon sausages, fantastic bacon, milk, eggs, Welsh cakes and a bottle of lovely bubbly!) - thank you so much! We had such a relaxing time, near to Abergavenny and Crickhowell, a bus can get you anywhere! Ty Daisy was warm and had all home comforts, the beds were super-comfy, the kitchen and living areas had all you could need. It was lovely to meet Fay at Bromfield's butchers - the lamb was fantastic! A wonderful host who had gone above and beyond to make the stay at Ty Daisy really great. We got some reasonable weather but on a rainy afternoon would recommend going into Blackwood which has a lovely independent cinema and lots of charity shops! I wish we could have stayed longer. All in all, one of our favourite stays on Booking.com (and we use it a lot). Thank you, Fay and Chris - we had a lovely time.

Super home from home. The main bedroom bed was really comfy. The property was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend including a very generous welcome pack and yummy stuff from their butchers. We parked our large ish Evoque in the space outside absolutely no problem. Fay and Chris are lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommend.
