Great location, near train station and bus stops

Needed a fan, rooms were quite warm at night

Dirty fridge, leftover food in freezer, box of half used tampons in bathroom, dirty towels, nowhere to sit & eat, view was a brick wall with barbed wire, street & lane at side full of bags of rubbish. Very noisy neighbours, most uncomfortable bed ever. Was so disappointed, checked out after 1 night (paid for 3). Still not had security deposit refunded (17 days), despite messaging & giving bank details. Not replying to messages & have had to open dispute with booking.com.

Its location close to the university and the city centre. Lots of space. Clean. Relatively quiet.

I made a few suggestions on how little things could be done to improve the stay but I didn’t get any response. Like adding a grab bar or a rubber mat in the shower as otherwise it’s very slippy. Like adding a few hooks in the bedroom or bathroom. Like getting a blind for the one window in the kitchen area that doesn’t have one. Like adding a small table in the bathroom for toiletries. Like using a contour/fitted sheet instead of a flat sheet. Like having a page of tips so guests could know how to get the wifi working as well as adjusting the heat, etc. I didn’t expect any of these to be done during my stay, but they’re just suggestions for future guests.

We liked the area we were in and it was a modern apartment that had recently been refurbished.

The fact that the surfaces and cupboards still had bits of dust from the refurbishment in them and it didn't have all the facilities it said it would e.g.no toilet paper and cleaning materials, no dustpan and brush or hoover, no drying rack. Although we didn't need it no tumble dryer.

Excellent position to city and food. Communication very positive.
