3 Brookside House

It was self catering , a very nice welcome pack on arrival . Nice airery rooms and nice garden . Great pub across the road with very nice food, good large portions . Also another pub restaurant down a side lane 4 min walk, again nice food . The house is about a mile and a half from Pickering . So well positioned to explore the area . Would stay there anytime .

Lovely place to stay. And the welcome gift was fantastic too! Great location (especially for a new driver for whom parking can be stressful - I really appreciated the driveway!) Lots of space. Had everything we needed. Cosy and comfortable. Loved sitting out in the garden in the evening watching the birds! Easy distance to Pickering.

Upstairs bathroom had a mild smell. Front door kept sticking, but learnt the knack to it after first day.

Great location for exploring the coast and North Yorkshire, the house is lovely, nicely furnished and very spacious. The host was really proactive and helpful. The enclosed garden at the back is great for a dog

It's an old property so all the charm and character comes with some compromises, especially on cold winter days, as the heating is dated and the showers are a little temperamental.

We had a fantastic stay at 3 brookside house! Our host Sian was great with communications before and during our visit. Everything was in tip top shape in the very spacious home . The open fire was a welcome treat for our November holiday and a bonus with the of road parking. A really nice country pub just across the road and the beautiful town of Picking only a five minute drive away. A big thank you from all of our party to Sian and Jonathan.

This is a lovely spacious property. Ideal for bigger groups, but me and my husband were very comfortable. Great contact with the host and a nice welcome. My husband is a train fanatic, so being right next to Pickering was the perfect location. Parking at the property is always a plus point.

I have no complaints. Although the entrance could do with being lit at night, as its hard to see when travelling at speed.

Nice welcome pack. Very spacious house. Massive kitchen. Living room comfy. Huge main bedroom comfortable superking bed.

There are no locks on bathrooms, maybe worried about children getting locked in. Floorboards along landing and main bedroom creak badly. Mind you, children can't sneak out of bedrooms 😄

It was a very lovely cottage the owners had thought of everything that you would need. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could think of . Bedrooms beautiful and very comfortable. The whole house was immaculately clean and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch and very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly be booking again

It was centrally situated for the coast and the moors .
