"Best cruise ship for Ha Long Bay! Seriously!"

We looked at many cruise boat options - and we are so glad we decided to book with Grand Pioneers.  From start to finish, the experience was excellent.  Food was amazing and we were pampered and spoiled every step of the way.  Our waiter (Nam) was incredible and so was our tour guide (Louis).  They were super attentive and went above and beyond to look after us. This boat is incredible.   Super clean and rooms were modern and spacious.  The pool was heated and modern. While drinks had to be purchased on board (soft drinks were 50K, beer around 70K and cocktails 200K) - bottled water was plentiful and free. Coffee also available in the morning at no charge.  Also very flexible with food alternatives. One of my children does not eat seafood and Nam was more than happy to offer alternatives.   Finally, I have heard other cruise boat providers 'persuading' guests to leave 5 star reviews in exchange for a coffee.  This was not the case on Grand Pioneers. No one asked me to write this review - they don't need an incentive when they provide such a great service.

Personeel was super vriendelijk! Alles is van top tot teen geregeld ( aankomst, uitleg). Ontbijt lunch avondeten alles vers! En heerlijk! Excursie goed geregeld!

In principe heb je geboekt voor twee dagen en een nacht! De tweede dag word je gevraagd om 09:00 uit te checken en vervolgens om 10:30 sta je weer aan land! Is niet echt een dag! Ik moet eerlijkheidshalve wel zeggen dat de activiteiten de tweede dag om 06;00 uur in de ochtend beginnen! Wat voor velen veel te vroeg is.

Overall fantastic staff and services, facilities were very impressive. It was clean and spacious, foods were very delicious and well prepared, also many options to choose from as well!

The internet, it was virtually nonexistent for me. Unable to connect to anything and couldn’t stream anything on the TV.

"Excellent stay on a memorable trip to Ha Long Bay."

It is an excellent cruise, we did the two nights three days itinerary and would have love to stay even longer. The staff is also attentive and friendly, make us feel at home. The food is great and their cabins are spacious compared to the last cruise we were on!
