Canalside B and B

Sharing bathroom is not our preference - we should have noted that this was mentioned in listed. Location of parking is not well signed and a van always seems to park blocking easiest access to home.

Beautiful setting beside canal. Peaceful and relaxing . Great breakfast. Kindly let us leave our car after checkout so that we could do a canalside walk.

Excellent breakfast and good variety of food on offer. Gail was very pleasant and helpful. Bed was very comfortable.

Maybe a security light between car park and house would be beneficial as pathway is very dark.

The location,, cleanliness, peace & quiet.

My whole stay was superb - from the friendly welcome at check-in and the comfortable and clean room and facilities to the quiet rural environment with a lovely view overlooking the canal and the fantastic breakfast. Thanks very much to Gail and the staff for a lovely stay!

Good breakfast

Excellent host. Very friendly and hospitable. We had a very early start for the F1 and a takeout breakfast was left out for us. This was such a generous gesture that we really appreciated. The setting of the B&B is idyllic, quiet with a great view of the canal. The roaming chickens were friendly. The bathroom was well stocked with everything you could think of. There were plenty of towels provided. The room was clean and smelt lovely.
