Canalside B and B

The setting next to the canal was idyllic and our room on the canalside of the property was very quiet.

With hindsight I don’t believe there are any en-suite facilities at this property. This was actually an oversight on my part.My error because I thoughtI had booked an en-suite room so this is the only reason I have marked down slightly on my ratings.

The landlady was very friendly and accommodating. Her breakfasts were very good--high marks for the homemade jams. Delightful view of the canal, with at least one boatman happy to chat.

The location is rather isolated, on a road that could get dangerous for anybody walking home from the village pub after dark. Dining opportunities seemed scarce, though there's a very good pub in Crick, 2-3 miles away.

Absolutely amazing place and host. The dinner and breakfast was delicious.

Quiet rural location with excellent facilities and hosts could not be more accomodating.

This was an excellent bed and breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff at a very reasonable price. I would certainly stay here again.

Everything was first class

I've stayed a number of times and it's quiet location, close enough to Rugby for my needs and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of cold breakfast options and the cooked breakfast it always good. Next to canal if you fancy a walk.

Some road noise early evening, but stopped by bedtime.
