The staff were amazing - especially Daisy who helped us out of a jam after check out when Ubers and taxis kept getting cancelled. Lovely room, beautifully decorated, a few steps from the sea. Great breakfast. Sad we could only stay one night but sure we'll be back!

The only slight niggles were the shower screen which leaked and loo seat which moved around!

Die Lage war für uns außerordentlich wichtig, und hat perfekt gepasst. Auch wie die Zimmer eingerichtet sind, war sehr ansprechend. Dazu kam, die Badezimmer waren neu und sauber.

Das Doppelbett war für zwei Personen sehr schmal. Mein Partner und ich konnten uns nur schwer darin einbetten. Die Zimmertüren, waren unten nicht geschlossen, da war ein Spalt, wenn die Fenster im Zimmer offen waren, hat die Türe spiel und es rüttelte, je nach dem wie fest es gewindet hat bzw. wie stark der Durchzug war. Auch fanden wir es unangenehm, dass durch diesen Spalt der Geruch von der Küche bis nach oben in die Schlafzimmer zog. Die Schlafmasken haben wir im Vantiyset erst in der zweiten Nacht gefunden hätten diese aber bereits in der ersten Nacht gebraucht, ein Hinweis wäre ganz nett gewesen. Die Zimmer sind eher hell. Leider mussten wir auch die Erfahrung machen, dass in der zweiten Nacht ein Fehl-Feueralarm abging, eher früh am Morgen...wir waren dann natürlich wach...wir suchten nach Personal, dass wir aber nicht finden konnten, der Alarm war daher über 30 Minuten im an, das war sehr unangenehm.

At first we were a little disappointed with breakfast as my wife is a coeliac and stated on the menu gluten free bread was available. Unfortunately it was not available but the chef changed some ingredients to what my wife thought was a great breakfast.

No milk in the Room so the coffee was too strong to drink but in all fairness we wasn’t in the room for long so it wasn’t worth trying to contact staff to rectify problem. Smoke alarm had been removed and hot water was almost dangerously hot.

Good choice and tasted freshly cooked. Location was good, centrally placed and near the sea also could walk easily from the train station.

Wonky toilet seat and constant electrical hum that could be heard when quiet in room.

The property was central to Emsworth, the staff were very welcoming.

There was no hairdryer in the room, nor any milk for the tea and coffee. The bathroom although ok was small. There was no private parking at the property.

Lots of lovely touches in the room and the staff were all so friendly and nice.

Parking is in car park at the back of the pub but I had to go and move my car in the morning as I was unable to extend my parking session. Not a big problem just something to be aware of.
