This is a beautiful pub/hotel. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The food in the pub was excellent. Outstanding quality and very well executed by the chef. Presented nicely and very tasty. The staff were friendly, helpful and seemed happy in their work. We throughly enjoyed Emsworth, a bustling town with lots of lovely shops, restaurants, cafes, walks and entertainment.

Parking is a bit of a nightmare as although there’s a huge car park behind the pub and free parking overnight you have to ensure you start paying for the next days parking at 8am. We did find if you rung the number on the charges poster you could pay for the next days parking the day before.

Location personal touches in room

We were promised breakfast outside our room on Christmas Day, as breakfast was included we didn't receive any breakfast...The pub sign was attached to our room and made extreme noise in the wind at night keeping us awake....

Wonderful local pub with excellent food staff amenities and very comfortable rooms.

Nothing to say on that score it was 100% all round

The property was ideally situated for us surrounded by different eateries and fabulous places to look around as well as the sea which we could see from our room.

The pub itself did great food & we had a fantastic lunch there ,as already had booked for dinner elsewhere. The pub was lovely to sit in to have lunch had a very welcoming feel about it. We met the owner who was extremely knowledgeable on all different wines which was very refreshing.

The noisy cleaners at an ungodly morning hour and the glass shower curtain that didn’t reach the bath, ending up in a flooded floor
