Breakfast was excellent.

Some noise from the bar up till midnight, but we were staying in a pub on a Saturday night, so we expected it.

"Lovely rooms, noisy pub below"

Lovely decor in the accommodation area. Nice view from the room. Bedroom and en-suite were well equipped and lovely smelling toiletries. Fresh milk for coffee/tea and a fridge in the room were a nice touch.

The bar downstairs was very audible from the room and loud music played until just after 11pm. Volume actually went up just after 10:30. It was a Wednesday night late September so seemed a bit unexpected. Some sound proofing is definitely needed.

"Apart from no breakfast before 9.00am the Blue Bell is a perfect place to stay."

We had an early start, unfortunately breakfast is only served from 9.00am. A continental plate of croissants, muesli , yogurt and ham was delivered the evening before, which was fine.

We couldn’t recommend this pub & its accommodation more, it truly is an exceptional place to stay. Beautiful & individual accommodation, fantastic food & staff who were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of breakfast choices and delicious.

Second stay this year. Love the location, the charm and feel of the place, the fantastic food, great customer service and the facilities in the room itself. Very laid back approach to the stay, no "depart by 10am" .. love it
