Ty Cerrig seaside Annexe, New Quay

Location good, view excellent, host very helpful and pleasant, shower great,

Not sure if I could have managed the bed if I had been on my own, sofa not as comfy as had expected, lack of space if staying for a week. The storage space is well created, but with summer / winter clothes / wet and dry, every eventuality.

Good Location

Was advised as having a sea view which can only be seen if you're outside. The whole place has privacy glass, which was a little frustrating/claustrophobic. The blinds on the door are more than enough for privacy. Didn't know what the outside was like until you opened the door. There are not enough power sockets. 2 mirrors which you're unable to look in if you need to dry/straighten your hair, very annoying if you're going out for the evening. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable for watching tv. The place was cold, and I had no control over heating. Also, check out time is 9am - 9.30 a little early, especially when we departed on a Sunday morning. Didn't know the depart time until we booked. Was also woken at 7 am on Sunday morning by a toddler running back and fore upstairs.

The annex is a very cleverly designed space from the garage of the owner’s house. It was clean with a great shower room.

The property is described as having 1 bedroom and this is not true. It is a studio and the main bed, which was comfortable, pulls down from the wall to fill the majority of the floor space in the living area. There is a separate sofa bed which is right next to the pull down bed and is a bit saggy for a good night’s sleep. I was told I should have brought my own bedding for the sofa bed although I am not sure how I should have known this. We were two friends not a couple and hadn’t anticipated sharing such a small space. We only stayed one night and felt we had been mis-sold. No refund was offered. They did provide us with bedding. The garden area described is just a bench in some gravel next to the parking area of the house.

Located in a decent area as it wasn’t too far away from anything. Was perfect for our stay away and would definitely book here again

Wasn’t a huge fan of the privacy windows but could understand why they were put in

Milk would have been nice. Could not see out as windows had a film on them. Pull down bed was not comfy . No lamp. Steps to bathroom dangerous.

The road sign needs to stand out more.

Compact but comfortable with everything you need. Easy to find and parking outside the door. Ideal for a short stay, we stayed overnight to break up our journey. There is a caravan park opposite with facilities you can use and it is a short drive into New Quay. Dog friendly.

The patio doors and window had a film on them so you couldn't see outside.

Cleverly thought out space to a very high spec. Responsive host.

I thought it was a separate bedroom with outdoor space, still a great space for solo or couple. Would have preferred a comfy sofa rather than an additional soda bed.
