Ty Cerrig seaside Annexe, New Quay

A very clean place, but found the sofa very uncomfortable, otherwise everything perfect.

The facilities were great, they made sure we had everything we needed, and the room was spotless. Very cozy and quaint place to stay overnight.

I found it got quite cold as the evening went on (not really a negative as a little heater was supplied). And Early check out, compared to most other places.

I liked that it was self contained, it had everything we needed.

The pull out bed was broken with a dirty sheet on it, We pulled it out to watch the TV as it could only be seen from there, and the sofa isn't very comfortable to sit on. I didn't like the privacy glass on the front doors. The grout in the shower could do with a clean.

Lovely annexe, enough room for 2 people, everything you need.

Location was about 20 minutes walk a bit too far from amenities. Nice pub in the Cambrian but closed early on Sundays and closed on Monday, so had to walk into the town.

My mistake maybe, but did not realise was a pull down bed so you are effectively sleeping in the kitchen. Found it hard to sleep as various kitchen appliances beeping throughout the night and could hear noise from family moving about upstairs till about 11.30pm. I would not have had any contact with hosts except had to query a few issues the gentleman was helpful and polite. Next morning as I was packing up both host were outside and was completely ignored which I found a bit odd and very rude. Really feel like you are in an annexe within someone's house, not for me and would not return.

It was very clean and great space saving ideas incorporated into a small space.

I didn’t realise the bedroom wasn’t separate so I was taken aback slightly by the fold down bed situation as photos are misleading. Place Felt cold but on request the host did put the heating on for me, it is controlled from within the main house. What frustrated me was I felt this could all of been explained on my arrival. I wasn’t made to feel very welcome at all and it upset me being a solo traveller , I bumped into who I assume was the host on arrival but I was just almost not spoken to. Tried to make conversation again but still it wasn’t two way and didn’t ask how my stay was going . Felt check out at 9am was ridiculously early and I felt stressed out by this deadline.

Lovely place to stay. Just the right size for a couple however we would have struggled with the kids for space etc. The kitchen was perfect to cook if you didn't want to go out and the fold up bed was extremely comfy. The location was ideal- it was just outside of New Quay town and opposite the Haven site. A short walk through the site led to a stunning beach which was better and unbelievably quiet compared to the beaches in the town itself. The Haven site had a shop and a restaurant which we visited on a couple of evenings.

It would have been useful to have some cleaning spray for the sides and maybe access to a small hoover just to clean the sand etc off the floor but that's literally it. We loved it and we are waiting to book it next year
