"Exceptional"

Comfortable, clean with everything for a pleasant stay. The welcome basket and fridge food was greatly appreciated.But the bed needs a top sheet and light blanket for summer rather than the winter weight duvet. A dish drainer would be helpful also. Highly recommended.

Such a quaint, cozy olace. Lovely comfortable bed. Ideally situated just across the road to Kirkwall high street and supermarkets just a couple minutes away.

"We would come back to this cottage and would recommend it."

The cottage was right in the heart of KIrkwall. The key code made it easy to access when coming off the night ferry from Aberdeen. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. The cottage had everything we needed.

We had some problems with electrical appliances, which we have already reported to the owners.

"Great, comfortable place to stay near town centre"

Compact, cottage with, lounge/kitchen, shower/bathroom, bedroom. Nicely laid out with cooking facilities - which I didn't use. Owners kindly left some milk, snacks, porridge, bread & jam. Just 5 mins walk from. town centre, shops, cafes etc. Ideal for 1 or 2 people. Wi-Fi & TV available. Very comfortable.

"This is a lovely place to stay for a few nights in Orkney."

We liked everything about our stay in the cottage. The accommodation is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The decor and facilities are of a high standard and the welcome hamper was a very pleasant surprise. With the location of the property being so close to the town centre, it was enjoyable to stroll along the lovely town centre streets.

"Quaint Cottage is a Little Gem"

The property has recently been completely renovated. So everything was in excellent order and obviously every decision made re the renovation and decoration had been thoughtfully planned. It was very comfortable and serene. It was in a great location to see the tourist sights within the township. It was only a 2-3 minutes walk. The owners had thoughtfully left for us a hamper of Orkney produce which we appreciated greatly.

"A couple of days in Kirkwall"

We had a handy stay for a couple of days. Good location for walking in Kirkwall. And easy to get to shops and facilities. We used onstreet parking nearby.
