"Beautiful cottage, very comfortable, great location"

Very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Excellent shower. Fantastic washing machine, perfect for the halfway point in our 3 week holiday. Washing dried quickly in the warm bathroom. Great location for the centre of Kirkwall and it's lovely shops!

Quite hard to find property as it was called Quaint Cottage on Booking.com, but is actually called The Cottage! One side of the rooms were quite dark as the lights were all on one side. No thin cotton tea towels, good idea to bring one from home!

"Beautiful cottage in Kirkwall"

What a wonderful cottage. We would give it 12 out of 10 if we could. Very close to the centre of town, close to supermarkets, beautifully decorated, well appointed kitchen, very cosy, sky lights. Would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Some thoughtful household additions - washing tablets/ fairy liquid, tin foil, sandwich bags, plastic shopping bag, umbrella, etc... all extremely helpful items. Great location. Very clean. Heating kept the house very cosy. Welcome hamper was most helpful. Lighting was nice. Communication was quick & helpful. If we go back to kirkwall, we'd choose this place again!

"An excellent property, nice quite area but close enough to the town centre. Super helpful host."

Lovely decor, well presented cottage. Super helpful host, 5 mins walk from the town centre. Was exactly as described/pictured and parking close by.

The only thing was the sofa arms were a little high/large for the room but that did not take anything away from the experience, just my personal observation.
