Stunning interior design, and restoration of a traditional Goan style home. The included a la carte breakfast was outstanding and the staff are very kind, caring and friendly.

The swimming pool is not built to be very practically usable but it's a minor drawback.

The old Portuguese Villa is exceptionally well restored and if you love design, history and old features, you are in the right place. The staff is very attentive and wants to help you in every way possible.

The Hotel has no alcohol licence, so don't expect to find it there. Bring your own.

We had 5 nights here and completely switched off. We had a half board stay and we loved the dine anytime policy. The food was superb. Some of the best food we ate in India. We lolled around the villa reading and listening to the rain pattering on the roof. The staff were incredibly attentive and there were lots of small touches to make it special.

We visited during the rainy season so had to tolerate a few drips through the roof. Even though it was the rainy season the pool area needed a bit of regular tlc so that guests can throw a towel down and go for a dip to cool off.

Perfect for a short vacation to unwind in the quiet of the small yet beautiful property and truly experience another side of Goa! The room and bathroom was spacious with all the necessities provided with the hospitality, warm and inviting! The food prepared was always fresh and served with a lot of love. If you’re looking to slow down and revel in the sounds of birds and the nearby rivers, this is undoubtedly the place for you!
