Lamrin Ucassaim Goa An Indo Portuguese Hotel

Nicely renovated Portuguese colonial house converted into a homestay style hotel. Friendly staff. Good food.

Nothing do in the local area. Noisy at night with barking dogs for hours. We felt the hotel did not live up to expectations and is over priced.

one feels at home right away , due to the small size of this hotel, only a few rooms, the paintings on the wall the superb restoration of this old house makes one wander back into the 18the century. The large veranda in the back is where we had dinner and breakfast, which was excellent , truly remarkable place to stay The people who manage the location are very kind and friendly.

Although difficult to find something negative, maybe one could say that we always needed a car to get there, but as taxis are really cheap in india it was not rely an issue.

Room can be slightly bigger

The breakfast options were good. The staff was very polite and always available. The property is beautiful and I loved the calm surroundings.

The location is a bit far, you have to drive at least 25 minutes via Mapusa to get to Assagao and another 15-20 minutes to Vagator or Morjim. So even if you're looking for a quiet stay you'll still have to drive a bit to get to the nearest good restaurant and that for us was Assagaon area.

It’s a jewel tucked away in the tiny village, away from the tourist hustle of north Goa. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday, you will sure like the home like warmth of this small boutique villa.
