The Sand Hill Inn

Nice quiet place when we were there, nice view and close to restaurants and town.

Arrived to a unclean room, had to call management which they accommodated me with another room ASAP. But it seemed to be smaller, then what I booked. Management told me they would call the following day to make accommodations with the room but the call never came, so I stayed in the room they provided.

Great view, spacious room, loved the fireplaces and hot tub! Restaurant next door was great for breakfast, dinner, and drinks too!

The view of the lake was amazing! The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. The fireplace was easy to use and set a romantic mood. There was a very nice covered patio with chairs to sit in and watch the water. The shower had good water pressure was a nice size. There was a whirlpool tub in the room, but we didn’t get a chance to use it

There wasn’t any staff to interact with, no person to check us in or out, or answer any questions. There was an email and phone number posted. We had to email the manager that the mini fridge leaked and got the rug pretty wet, maintenance wasn’t available until after we were leaving, although they did compensate us for the issue. There were some kayaks outside and a pier, but we weren’t sure if they were for guest use. I am not sure if there was a place on site where a staff member was available, but I felt the personal touch that face to face interaction gives was lacking

The location. Right on the lake. Great cottage room. Lots of space Clean, really nice furnishings.

Bathroom is old looking, gold framed shower is dated. Could not see lake while sitting on chair on porch. Had to stand to enjoy view. Refrigerator needs defrosting. My food in fridge froze, had to throw out. No one on premises. It's a nice touch to be greeted by a person.
