Modern Studio Near NEC with Free Parking - Prime Location

The property looked dingy outside and poor area. Was unable to get in property as key box but wasn’t given code despite messaging landlord days previously and receiving no response. When outside tried to ring but number not recognised. Messaged again and response was to send over further £100 for potential damage to a private account and photo id. I asked for a current phone number so I could discuss but no response and no reply to further messages so abandoned ( after sitting outside for 2 hours trying to find solution) and went to a travelodge.

Very poor handling by the check-in team. They contacted me via WhatsApp outside of Booking.com, requesting both a money deposit and a copy of my ID off-platform.

Good location, well presented

I found the bed to be rather uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping due to this and the traffic noise outside. I did notice the lock was loose in the door which did cause some security concerns.

Very close to the NEC. We were going to a concert so was only £10 in an uber which was ideal and the airport is just nearby too.

For just the night and if going to a concert or the airport it’s very reasonable but otherwise it is not comfortable! The bed is very uncomfortable. The lockers outside get emptied around 5am and they are very loud. The traffic on the main road outside you can hear all night.

It's close to bus stations and some good restaurants

Few broken bits mirror in bathroom was glued or sticky tab which after leaving the shower running for a good twenty minutes to steam bathroom so I could take that shower due to being unwell they mirror has dropped very dangerous as I could of cut myself the bed was on top of a wooden board and was very dipped and loud.. the banging from upstairs was very loud.. the following day than the guy from next door went on to bang on the front door then shouting we had to leave this was straight after I started to scan my room with a hidden camera detector low and behold this is when this happened straight after (very weird) .. he went on to record but if the next person or before person has stayed there you would of notice or will notice that the front door there has already been kicked off SNM!! over all would stay again as the shop next door has bloody amazing winning scratch cards 🤪🤪
