I liked everything

Everything was amazing. Starting with the human team, we were really impressed with the attention to detail. Starting with our host Murooj and followed by the cleaning service, restaurants, spa team all the ones non customer facing staff that works everyday to ensure you have the best experience. When we arrived at Male, a member of the resort was waiting for us. He picked up our luggage and checked us in for the domestic flight. Then, he took us to a lounge area where we had some beverages and changed our clothes. Timing was ok, we got to Male international airport by 12pm and were in the hotel by 3pm. Once in the hotel, the go-to person for everything was Murooj, our host. We were in contact through WhatsApp pretty much everyday he was the bridge between the different services and us. Everything we wanted, we only had to talk to him and he would make it happen for us. The room was simply out of this world. We stayed in a sunset private pool villa and could enjoy the sunsets from the pool. The villa has its own access to the beach and I have to say that it is pretty private. Few couples passing by but nothing we couldn't bare with. We had a massive bed inside the room and the views in the morning were just stunning with the pool and the sea with all the different blue tones. The bathroom is as per the pictures. It is not the room you will spend most of your time, but it is worth saying that it was another experience to add on top of the above. Our reservation was full board. We didn't book full inclusive because we don't usually drink and in our case, it wasn't worthy. Also since we spent most of the time in our villa, we didn't have the temptation for a beer our a pizza at the pool bar. We drank a couple of cocktails one night that were worth $25, so no brainer for us. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all in the buffet restaurant. It had a big variety of food and deserts. Water and beverages were included as well as teas and coffees.

Although the resort made it very comfortable for us, the distance between Male international airport and the resort is to be taken into account. It was almost $1000 the trip and included plane and speedboat trips. Apart from the price, it is the length of the trip. One the come back, door to UK door took us 24 hours and we didn't have any leeway during the day. There is a feeling of things being a bit pricey, but I guess it is part of the luxury of the experience. There is a small shop in the island where you can buy some presents and we were in shock with the prices. We bought just few things. We thought on buying more stuff in the airport but everything was rushed there and we didn't have time.

In fact, everything was beyond expectations. The design of the resort, the cleanliness of the beach, the treatment of the staff, and I do not forget the variety of food options in each meal at the buffet.

Living above the water is a unique experience. And I really liked the diversity of coral reefs, swimming with fishes and contemplating the aquatic life. As for the resort, it was really wonderful and contains a tastey buffet with a lot of options. As well as the massage service which was lovely and worth the experience. And I do not forget the water sports center and the options for activities in it, and how the staff ware very friendly (Sharuwaan and Manaf).

At the price we booked, it was an amazing value for money. Spectacular house reef. Great food with lots of options to choose from (buffet)

It’s quite difficult to get to - the domestic flight only takes an hour but we had to wait for more than 5 hours for it (the schedule is set by the local airline and not controlled by the hotel). The activity / entertainment program is very limited. One evening a week there is live music, otherwise nothing in the evening

It was my dream to visit the Maldives! But I guess it could be a hit or a miss depending of the resort you choose !!!! I hit a home run with AMARI!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!! The overwater bungalow was spectacular with a semi outdoor bathroom! LUXURY AT ITS BEST! The food was fantastic! The beach was fantastic!! The pool was…fantastic!!!! Everything was perfect❤️

Only one tiny small thing!!! The resort has only 120 rooms so +/-250 persons at the resort maximum!!! BUT only 30 chairs at the pool/ main beach with umbrellas for shade.. People would wake up early (7 am) and go réserve chairs by placing personnel objects on them and then leave…only to return at 1 or 2 pm!!! I thought it was rude and unfair !!! So maybe place either more chairs/umbrellas or make a sign telling people that they cannot reserve the chairs!!!🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
