NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort

Amazing location, wonderful staff all friendly and accommodating, great variety of food, rooms very spacious and clean thanks to cleaning service twice a day. House riff easy to reach and snorkel.

Amari Havodda requires domestic flight between 1-2 hours flight as it is located around 400km south of Malé. Hammocks weren’t as comfortable and need some renewal / renovation works including the terrasse.

We have had splendid time , we especially enjoyed yoga classes - sunrise and sunset with instructor NAGESH .Lovely helpful and kind staff , perfect food :)

Amazing location, good corals, amazing facilities, very comfortable bed, outdoor bathroom etc everything was super and staff took good care of you.

it was a bit unclear when I booked that we have to pay $500 per person from Male to this island.

First, I would like to thank to our personal host for the hospitality from both families! We are traveling a lot and we consider Maldives as the best place for vacation – Amari as second place visited, we will compare with the first – Innahura. What was better: - The island of Amari is over the best reef where you can see turtles, sharks and many different fishes. The fact that the reef is next to you, and you can go without any time restrictions or wait some guide or go on the boat and lose the whole day is extremely nice. - Kitchen and restaurant were better in terms of service and food - The availability of water villas – where we tested for some days before island bungalows. Still we prefer sand and the bungalows 😊 - The cocktails were bit better. - The opportunity to join the beach grill - Sunset bar – very nice idea – and the only place where people can meat and get know each other - Having personal host with direct whasapp connection is excellent experience - The airport support is also very helpful

We don’t have anything negative – just suggestions what can be improved in order you to improve. Overall we observed a lot of people – manly couples to be bored and all day scrolling on phones. There is lack of entertainment program. This shall be addressed – same examples - music nights / dance shows / karaoke /group activities (only Yoga is not enough). Prodivers in Inahora were way better than EuroDivers diving center were was not so many options and no explanation at all like the first hotel. The welcoming in Amari could be also more explanatory – like inbound information. As we could not imagine asking everything we need. Like where to enter the water?- there is places marked with water balloons/or near piers that you can enter without been hut by the reef. Where to find turtle ? near the main pier. Or is there danger in the water for the kids? - rays, sharks, etc.

The one hour internal flight to the Amari Havodda island made me initially hesitate due to the extra cost and time however, it was well worth it and the team at Amari Havodda made the transfer so smooth. We were met at the airport and helped with the transfer flight, fortunately only having to wait for an hour. Arriving at the local airport, we were again met and quickly brought to the waiting speed boat. 20 minutes and we arrived at the stunning island. The attention to detail and level of service is outstanding. The island is immaculate and everything you dream of for a paradise island vacation. Do not hesitate to book Amari Havodda, everything is literally perfect and we plan to return as soon as we can.
