The Cozy red house with Amazing sea view

The cozy house ist really beautiful. We had a nice view over the bay and its located perfect. We started our daily trips from here. We met the owner and he gave us good tipps. Everthing was to our full satisfaction.

Great quiet location with fantastic views, centrally located for day trips around the islands. Well equipped cottage, everything worked. Most essentials provided so only needed to buy food. Villages of Strendur and Saltangará within 10-15 minutes drive for shops/restaurant. The host, Ole, was helpful and easy to contact. Having a washer & dryer was an added bonus.

A few more hooks / shelves / rails for hanging clothes would have been helpful.

Only good thing about the house is view.

I told the landlord I wanted to pay by card, but he refused and demanded cash. I paid cash as requested and requested an invoice. Despite me asking several times, he only promised to provide an invoice after I gave him positive reviews about the accommodation. I had to ask repeatedly, and I told him I would write the facts. The house has a nice view, but the landlord was very rude.

De rustige ligging aan het fjord. Fijne plek. Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Goed contact met Ole de eigenaar.

Nothing much

We (2 adults) stayed a week at The Cozy Red House With Amazing Sea View. Our wish was to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Faroe Islands and escape from busy life and noises all around. And what a success that was! The house is situated on the island of Eysturoy with a spectacular view. From here places like Viðareiði and Gasadalur are reached within the hour. Tórshavn and Runavík are just a short drive away. We enjoyed the view in sunny weather as well as on grey and windy days. What a view! The kitchen is well-equiped and spacious and dining with a great sea view is fabulous. The house has a cozy little living room, 3 bedrooms and a small bathroom. Down in the basement are a washing machine and tumble dryer. Communication with host Ole is perfect. Very friendly and helpful guy. We would definetely stay here again, without any doubt.

Not that it bothered us since we were just 2 people, but we can imagine that the bedrooms and surely the bathroom can be a bit tight when you're 4 or more people. But well, that is just a minor fact considering the wonderful views, the silence and the central spot in the Faroe Islands.
