The Cozy red house with Amazing sea view

Very quiet and private cabin with excellent mountain and sea view!! The house has all the appliances required for a long stay, great internet connection, heat and hot water and a parking spot. Ole the host was very kind and ready to accommodate any request! Would definitely recommend it and revisit it!!

Beautiful house and an amazing and relaxing view for a very enjoyable stay and a very organised host. I can only recommend!

The accommodation was as described and photos. The location of the accommodation is roughly in the middle of the Faroe Islands, which suited us perfectly given our plans. You could get everywhere by car in about 1 hour. It is also located on the shore of a bay and provides a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. The nearest grocery store is in Strandur, about 7 km away. The nearest gas station is another 2 km towards Skala - Effo á Strondum. I can recommend this accommodation if you want to explore the Faroe Islands by car. The owner Ole was also very helpful and accommodating.

Great hospitality and contact by our host from the moment of booking. Place itself is the definition of coziness, located in a quiet place, out of the beaten track, yet very close to virtually every corner of the archipelago.

Wonderful house with a fantastic view over the sea and the mountains that makes for a great base to explore all the islands. In fact, excluding ferries, no place is further away than an hour or so by car. As for the difficult instep to the shower, the owner has added a wooden plank to alleviate the problem. Ole is also very easy to communicate with. Recommended in the highest way!

Some storing room for clothes and stuff on the upper floor would be nice, but I´m not even going to detract half a point from my rating over it 😄

Nice peaceful location with a good view. All kitchenware provided. Nice decor and cleanliness. Host is responsive.

All 3 bedrooms are very small and without heaters. Uncomfortable bed. No shower gel and shampoo provided. Stair is very steep.

The host, Ole, was very quick with all communication and very helpful (he can assist you with a rental car too). The location was perfect to visit all of the islands. The view was spectacular! The house had everything we needed (including a comfortable bed) and was wonderful to return to each day. We stayed in two different places during our trip and wished we had stayed at this house the entire time.

The stairs to upstairs were quite steep and there was a high bathtub/shower. We had no problems with these but those with mobility issues may.

We kiked the location, it's a very peaceful place, the view on the fjord it's amazing, and the home is fully equipped with all you need. Beds are comfortable, the host is very friendly and helpful for anything you need! We will come back for sure !
