The Cozy red house with Amazing sea view

This house was so cute! It’s little and cozy.

The shower had a high wall to step over, so be aware. The stairs can be tricky to get up and down with luggage. But it’s totally worth booking. It was one of our favorite places we have ever rented.

Nothing , perfect in every way

Location was perfect for visiting different parts of the Faroe Islands. The house was tidy and cozy. The owner was friendly and helpful. It was lovely watching the sheeps and the ducks from the window in the morning. Washing machine and the dryer were very handy. Overall nothing to complain about the house, we very much enjoyed staying there.

Amazing view in quiet little town. Easy to find and to access. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need. Short drive from the capital city.

Though the property had everything we needed, I ended up with a severe allergic reaction to something in the house that saw me hospitalized. Despite the amount of antihistamines, the skin rash kept getting worse to a point where we had to check out early and find another accommodation. We still don’t know what exactly caused the reaction, but we do know it was related to the house. Perhaps hidden fungi. Perhaps the excessive amount of perfume used to wash towels and bed linen.. Either way, it cost us two days of illness, missed adventures, as well as a small fortune to relocate and book a hotel with short notice. The landlord didn’t offer any compensation. Needless to say, our idyllic honeymoon didn’t go as planned.

Great view from the living room and masterbedroom, modern kitchen even including a dishwasher and all other necessities (e.g. basic spices, oil, vinegar, etc.), host met us at the airport and was very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

While this was no problem for us, it should be noted for future guests that the stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom are very steep (as are most stairs in old faroe houses) and are not suitable in case you have any walking disabilities. Same goes for the shower as entering the shower requires some flexibility

Both The house and The view is amazing. Quiet place, privacy and enough space.

The landlord is very nice and helped us a lot. He responded to our messages in seconds. The house is very cozy, and taking pictures in the living room is so beautiful!
