Top Star Saariselkä - Arctic Glass Cubes

The locations and privacy were amazing. The units are a one minute walk from the highest spot in Saariselkä so you get amazing views and the best opportunity to see the northern lights. The layout was so cozy and the sauna was amazing. So clean too! And watching the aurora from a cozy bed was a once in a lifetime experience!!

Location

There are 8 cubes and only cubes 1 & 2 have unobstructed views from the windows. The rest are positioned in a way that you only get a partial view and mostly see the back of the building in front. From the Sauna window you only see a black ventilation pipe and a piece of the sky. Ours was number 4 and I would not pay full price summer or ski season. A dissapointment and with full trash cans and a dirty couch. Cant reccommend and wont be coming back.

Supberb location with amazing views. Reindeer just wandering around. The Glass Cube is fabulous, light and airy but as it was summer we had the ceiling blinds drawn. Sauna was fantastic.

The view was excellent, it was very clean, the towels were fresh, instructions were very clear. And it was very quiet too.

Only a few channel options. The shower was too tight and the washing sink too small. No place for the toiletries.

Everythink:), good loction but, better to drive down , and strart from botom:) or just follow the time and ski till home:) and we forgot shoes so cleaner chat to us and we got it:) nice that have a kitchen because I was not happy with food in 3 places:/ 75 eur 3 course and soso:/ so 1 time i make myself shop is close9

Can adjust sauna Doors maybe it for safety:) i dont know but when we go out steam also go out, was good i see some open Airline , propably it should be like that:)

The location was good but you would want a car. The room was very small but well designed and the bed was extremely comfortable.

We had a view of the back of another unit. It was not the view that we expected and given the price for the size of the property (it is tiny) we had expected a view. Photos attached to show views from side and main window. I think we were unlucky as there were only a few properties that had this really bad outlook. We had to contact the property to get directions as these had not been provided. We were told we would not get these until the day of our arrival. It was as though they were a big secret. This meant that we only got them at the very last minute and in fact, after our checkin time and after chasing again by WhatsApp and we therefore needed data or Wi-Fi to pick them up. And the WhatsApp exchange was frankly rude and not at all welcoming. We had a problem with the electricity as it went off and the owner was very unfriendly and practically cut me off when I called. We did not really see any staff other than for this problem so cannot comment. Another guest accidentally shut themselves out of their room in the freezing temperatures and knocked on our door. I called the owner and again was met with rudeness. The fittings in the unit were cheap. The TV was about the cheapest brand you could get and we were unable to watch anything because you needed to download a specific app. The picture looked such poor quality. It wasn’t really worth watching anyway.
