Top Star Saariselkä - Arctic Glass Cubes

The location is perfect to see the Northern Lights. We saw it twice right from our cabin. The location was also very near the ski lifts and tobogganing slopes. We also appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen and clothes dryer that could warm your clothes on a very cold day! The heated glass roofs also ensured we always had a clear view of the sky. We walked down town (about 25 minutes slow walk) to get groceries to cook, though the uphill could be a challenge. The personal sauna was a bonus. We booked the taxi airport transfer through the property and the lady was great. She helped us with our luggage and opened the doors for us, which was very helpful since it was a self check-in property and it's not always easy figuring things out in the cold!

Prior to the trip, communication with the host was slow. Had to do a few follow ups before I could get a confirmation of our airport transfers. But once there, communication was great. They responded quickly to questions and issues faced and everything was perfect.

It had a beautiful view, halfway up the mountain and ski slopes. It was equipped with everything for a nice night in cooking. Spotless and comfortable.

The hotel is new( 3 years I was told) and the cube has a god size, and has everything you need. It is located in a very beautiful snd quiet place and even though it is not far from the center of Saariselkä.

Breakfast delivered is not my preference, but it was a good breakfast with fruits, smoked salmon, bread, butter, everything you need for a good meal .

Location is great. Near centre of Saariselka. View is good. Easy to find. Everything you need is in the appartment. Parking next to the front door.

Appartment is bit small and beds were not great (but that is personal preference). Check in was not good. Did not recieve an email en even after phoning a couple of times (and he assured me he would email the entrance code) we still did not recieve the keycode. We had to wait in the local bar untill booking.com finally received a keycode for us several hours later.

Very cozy and comfortable room. Close walking distance to the ski chairlift/slopes & restaurant where you can also take the ski bus there to town area during winter season

The property itself do not have an issue, just that the description of the room on booking.com could be clearer where I got the room not what I want, but overall is good and recommended

The location is beautiful & the view from the room is amazing. The cabin has everything you'd need.

There is not reception and the person answering the call is extremely rude and unhelpful and so is the cleaner lady. They got angry because we asked them for help as we couldn't figure out how to operate the heater.

Was not able to shower after one person has used the shower, called management and they explained that hot water has been used up so needed to wait for one hour for the water to come back (in the middle of my shower). Half of the view in apartment 4 was blocked by the apartment in front so ideally should only pay for half the price of the accommodation. With the issue with the hot water, it is not worth nearly 500 euros on one night. Very very disappointing
