Valletta Collection - St. Domenic Duplex

Mieszkanie na starym mieście w typowym budynku z tradycyjnym wykuszem. O krok od głównej ulicy z większością atrakcji a jednocześnie w spokojnym miejscu. Na parterze kuchnia (ze zmywarką!), na piętrze salon, łazienka i sypialnia. Dużo przestrzeni, bardzo wygodnie. Bardzo dobra komunikacja z gospodarzami.

Wszystko było w porządku. Osoby o ograniczonych zdolnościach ruchowych powinny wziąć pod uwagę, ze schody na piętro są dosyć strome.

The host had sent us a very comprehensive email, very easy to follow with all the details on how to get to the property, how to access the property and then some very useful information about the location, what shops, restaurants were closeby. It was also full of information on where to eat and what beaches were the best to visit, and what Valetta had to offer - it was fantastic and made our stay so much more enjoyable.

Location was amazing and the design of the apartment is beautiful, as pictured. Comfy bed.

We chose the apartment because we wanted to self cater, but the kitchen wasn’t well equipped. Missing basic things like a colander, there were tiny pots and pans and a tiny chopping board. We gave up on cooking after a couple of nights - it was too frustrating. It’s a shame as it was just basic utensils missing which let the place down. Kitchen drawers are full of junk and empty packaging - rather than cookware. As previous reviewers have mentioned the shower seal is broken so bathroom floods.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem alten, typisch maltesischen Haus, das sowohl innen als auch außen in einem sehr gut gepflegten Zustand ist. Das Haus ist stilvoll und modern eingerichtet und sowohl die Möbel als auch die Wandfarben so gut aufeinander abgestimmt, dass diese Unterkunft ein Gemütlichkeit und Wärme ausstrahlt. Besonders die große, begehbare Dusche und der für Malta so typische Balkon haben mir besonders gut gefallen. Das Bett war groß und so bequem, dass ich jede Nacht dort gut geschlafen habe. Die Küche befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und verfügt über alle Utensilien die man braucht, um sich - wenn man das dann auch möchte - selbst zu verpflegen. Auch eine Spül- und Waschmaschine gehören zur Ausstattung. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist hervorragend; alle Sehenswürdigkeiten Vallettas sowie zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Der Check-in als auch der Check-out Prozess verliefen reibungslos. Außerdem habe ich vor meiner Anreise eine Reihe von Informationen über die Unterkunft sowie Valletta erhalten, die mir den Aufenthalt dort erleichtert haben. Ganz zu schwiegen von Emilija, mit der ich mich über WhatsApp austauschen konnte und die stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und bemüht, mir ihre Hilfe bei Fragen oder Problemen angeboten hat. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder dorthin und empfehle die Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiter!

Aufgrund der Bauweise des Hauses ist es dort hellhörig.; insbesondere am Wochenende hört man den Lärm von den Lokalen, in der sehr nah gelegenen Strait Street. Ebenfalls der Bauweise geschuldet ist, dass in den Räumen eine gewisse Feuchtigkeit steht, die für Asthmatiker leichte Probleme verursacht. Die Treppe ins obere Stockwerk ist hoch und steil, so dass eine gewisse Trittfestigkeit erforderlich ist. Das Türschloss ist etwas "tricky" und es dauert etwas, bis man den Dreh raus hat, mit dem Schlüssel die Tür einfach zu öffnen und zu verschließen. Wirklich gestört hat mich aber mich aber nur, dass das Wasser im Waschbecken nicht gut abgelaufen ist und der Duschstrahl (zumindest für meinen Geschmack) eher schwach war.

Very clean, comfy and well located place. It had everything we needed.

Quite close to a loud street, which meant loud in the evenings and lots of people passing past the door. The book mentioned complimentary water, wine etc, there wasn’t any of these.

Loved our stay! This place was amazing – really spacious and in such a great central location. The modern interior and furnishings made it feel comfortable and stylish. We especially loved the upstairs area with the traditional Maltese balcony – it had so much charm! The big walk-in shower was a nice bonus, and the colour scheme tied everything together beautifully. Would definitely stay here again!

We did have a few minor issues during our stay with the air con, electrics, and water was off one night, but the hosts were super responsive and sorted everything quickly so this shouldn’t be an ongoing problem for future guests. Internal stairs are a bit difficult to negotiate and the bedroom can be noisy early in the morning but we slept well regardless as we were up early to make the most of visiting all the sights. Overall, we had a great stay in this beautiful apartment in a stunning city. We will be back!
