Historic 17th century farmhouse in Wales

The cottage has lots of character which you'd expect from a 17th century building

the mattress on the bed wasn't that comfortable I could feel the springs but I could put up with it for a 2 night stay

Lovely place we've been before. Great parks and forests nearby. Very cosy and comfortable.

It's a little dated but that's part of the charm! No freezer.

We loved our little stay in this gorgeous little cottage, spotlessly clean, everything you need is there, gorgeous log burner fire which was welcomed after the snow/hail, fabulous host who even offered to come and shovel snow for us, i would definitely recommend staying here, the view and the lake are beautiful, we ditched the car and had a lovely walk into Mold, had a lovely meal in the deadwood smokehouse, stopped at The Swan Inn on the way back for a drink, lovely landlord and his wife

It was a beautiful cottage with amazing views. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the available space was a surprise. It was very clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure to relax at the end of the day on the cosy sofas.

Whilst the building and plumbing is old there were periods of exceptionally loud banging from the pipe work during the night whilst the heating was on which woke us up several times. The shower wasn’t particularly warm.

Very quiet pub just down the lane but a lovely place
