Historic 17th century farmhouse in Wales

Beautiful place

The location was fantastic, it was secluded but not remote and was easy to find with clear instructions given in advance of arrival. The cottage was lovely and warm even on a very cold Welsh day and the log burner was well stocked so we benefited from using that as well. The property was very well laid out with lots of little added extras to make it homely and comfortable, it had loads of charm. And the views 8n the morning were incredible. We were all sad we weren't staying longer, the 9 year old asked if we could move in permanently! Highly recommend for small group or family.

From parking up and taking in the beautiful scenery around we was instantly happy! The area is so peaceful and quiet. Lots of nature around to watch. Entering the property no problems, the hosts sent instructions prior to arrival of where to get the key, where to park etc. Which was extremely helpful! Loved walking into the lovely old farm house (or this is what it felt like) extremely clean and tidy, inviting. Lovely gift of Welsh cakes left to enjoy with a coffee and fresh milk after a long drive! Sadly didn’t have enough time to get a fire going but everything there to use and we will definitely do so next time. Bedrooms/beds super large, very clean, bright, very comfy and cosy! Beautiful views out the window when waking up! Bonus of a on suit toilet off one of the rooms and a lovely large family bathroom with separate shower and bath. Bumped into a family member on the property and they were very welcoming and lovely. Fab location for anything great walks on the door step, seaside 50 minutes away (Llandudno), village has a play area for kids 5 minutes down the road! White Swan pub for a drink half a mile walk 5/10 mins down the road. Chester 20 minute drive lots to do and see there! We cannot wait to return! Hidden gem. Highly recommend. Value for money is 10/10. Thank you!
