Facilities clean and tidy. Beds ultra comfy and Cosy.

It would have been nice to meet our hosts. Possibly a little pricey.

Lovely old, renovated cottage. Had all the facilities we needed, in a quiet rural setting.

Minor - needed shelter & mats at back door, as it was raining.

The breakfast was lovely, and we were super delighted that there was such a fabulous range of Tea! We cooked for ourselves both nights, so were super grateful for the well equipped kitchen! Also loved playing board games in front of the open fire! Idyllic! Ngā mihi nui!

It's a quaint historied old stone cottage. The location ... a few km out of town ... is very quiet and the night sky is spectacular.

The front porch and window sills were covered with bird droppings. It seemed as if bees. perhaps wasps, were setting up a nest under one of the front eaves. The hot water service kept running to cold during our showers. I thought, maybe, it was a small storage system and we'd just exceeded it's volume ... but there's a medium Rinnai Infiniti on the outside wall. Overall 'feel' of being a bit cheap and mercenary with minimalist cleaning, some weird setting of the hot water service, almost empty 'butter', but lots of signs as to additional stuff you can buy. Those things can be a bit of a balance, but they way everything was here it felt more mercenary than helpful.
