Coconut Residence & Spa

Goede locatie en leuk om te kunnen zwemmen in proper water. De bediening in het hotel was fantastisch, door een vriendelijke meneer hadden we nooit dorst.

In de Coconut lunch was de bediening echter met veel tegenzin. We aten er 2 keer en telkens 2 uur!! Moeten wachten op ons eten. Het was wel lekker.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful gardens and well looked after.

Once opulent but now decadent place. Rooms outdated. Poor breakfast. In one of the nights the place was rented for a birthday party so it was very noisy until 2am.

Staff are very good and helpful. Location is great, rooms are very nice

Apparently one of the oldest hotels in the Gambia. However, it was closed a few years back and only reopened in the last 12 - 18 months. There are signs of its old grandeur, but it still has some way to go - both in terms of the buildings, facilities and service. They are trying very hard though - on all fronts. And they’re blessed with very willing staff who will do anything to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Very impressed with my stay at Coconut Residence. All the staff were very Friendly with a special thanks to Hawa and Kaddy at reception Baks and Modu at Breakfast and also Adama for his Friendly smile outside. Security and housekeeping staff were also very good . My room was cleaned daily and everywhere around the property was immaculate. Breakfast was basic but that's how I like it very simple with cereal toast and juice. I had the pool area to myself which was nice and relaxing. Thanks so much . Will be back.

Location very central and walking distance to senegambia strip and 10min walk to tropical mall and various other restaurants and shops. The welcoming very friendly reception just what you need after a long hail flight and Awa and reception team go above and beyond .Awa arranged prior all our requirements during fasting which was much appreciatted and great to meet in person. Rooms very spacious clean and comfortable and loved the outside seating area especially at night where its all lit up. Housekeeping excellent always fresh linen and towels nothing was a problem. Mr jallo or as I said Mr Jallof and Baxs again excellent job they truly deserve to be the Head of the service team they are full of passion to do a good job . The environment here very quiet and relaxing and away from a lot of tourists which I found even more appealing... they have big things planned for this place and one outside bar area which looked amazing.. There will also be a gym with the spa . From the security men to the gardener and maintenance manager all very pleasant and make sure your okay . General Manager Adama is always on hand to assist and makes sure everyone including the staff are all okay .. The owner also makes sure everyone is happy which we appreciatted his time to say hello . Alasana and I loved this place ... we stayed in some top rated establishments and staff not near as great as the staff here and they have the attitude of always putting the guests first and if you have good people then you have the making of a great establishments and we can see this being one of the top places to stay in gambia ... we wish every one of you much success and we will return in the near future. Thanks for the great experience.

This hotel is very good. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are very nice and professional.
