Don't even try paying with a VISA card! I have two with me, and they don't work. At the ATM (less than 5 minutes later), both work without any problems.
GBQuiet, peaceful and secure accommodation in beautifully kept grounds with lovely gardens and trees which monkeys and birds frequented. Very spacious rooms and a generous breakfast. Welcoming very honest staff (we mislaid a valuable bag of duty free cosmetics which staff found and returned to us). The airport was a little expensive but, the pre- agreed price was maintained despite the flight being delayed 4 hours until a midnight landing.

Před resortem je velmi rušná ulice oddělující přístup směrem k pláži. Jednání některého personálu bylo vcelku odtažité. V koupelně tekla velmi horká voda a nakonec upadla i sprchová hlavice.

La spa era in costruzione e quindi non accessibile. La colazione. L'unica disponibilità era una colazione all'inglese. Dopo un po' di discussioni siamo riusciti ad ottenere una maggiore varietà, ma c'è ancora da lavorarci. Il team dei manager ha ascoltato le nostre osservazioni e si è detta disponibile ad incrementare la scelta. Sono necessari ancora lavori si ammodernamento, specie nei bagni che sono un po' datati anche se molto puliti.
FRThe style and calm of an old hotel
Very poor service, breakfast choice non existent. The spa was being refurbished. Such a shame as this hotel could be really nice if the staff were more trained and improved furniture for the breakfast. The rate initially announced was increased by 10% when the currency conversion was done.
DEGBVery clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Good water pressure, power shower, air conditioning in rooms. Nice breakfast. Nice pool area.
I booked a deluxe suite with balcony. The room we were given was beautiful and large, with a nice bathroom. How ever the key to the balcony door was lost apparently, first by the house keeper , then by the last guest. I asked to move to another room after I came back from Senegambia, as I like to use the balcony on an evening. We were given a new room on the next floor up. Room was nice but about the size of the last rooms bathroom. I should have just been given this room first really, if they knew my balcony key was missing. But I excepted it as I was tired and it did have a huge balcony and we were only there for 1 night. We have a property in Gambia but treat ourselves to hotel nights. Even after balcony gate, I would recommend this hotel as the rooms and guest areas are spotless and are kept to a high standard and that can be hard to find in Gambia, even in 4 and 5 star hotels.
