Carder Cottage; A walker’s paradise in Longnor

Perfect location to explore the surrounding area. Great walks, lovely views everywhere!

Very clean and well equipped. Very nice touches here and there - particularly appreciated the local bread, milk, egg and butter.

Helpful to have stairgate at top of stairs in addition to the ones at bottom.

We stayed for two nights. The cottage was beautiful and spotless. The owners had thought of everything for you. Their welcome pack was amazing and very much appreciated. Being able to park right outside was great. Great local shop at the bottom of the road.

Really well stocked and had everything you need. Also great little doggy pack provided! lovely village with great pub, chippy and shop. Close to Buxton and great walks. Clean and comfortable.

Pretty much perfect. Only thing was lack of grass in the garden and fog wouldn’t pee! That’s just my fussy dog but had to take dog out for a walk - no great problem.

Beautiful cottage and extremely helpful owners - everything we needed

The cottage was immaculate and felt very luxurious. Everything we needed provided at a high standard. Great communication from Jooles, really couldn't ask for more.

What a place! I dont think I have ever stayed in an accomodation that was as well thought-through or more equipped. The cottage was immaculate, had everything you could ask for in a stay and it was a lovely touch with the eggs, butter, milk and wine that was in our fridge when we arrived. The location is also great. A really lovely village in the middle of everything. Only 15 minutes to Bakewell and very close to one of the best ice cream places (Tagg Lane Dairy). Thank you for allowing us to use your amazing accomodation, we will be back.
