Property Notes

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or a valid permanent resident MY PR Card are exempted. In addition, the State of Perak has imposed Local Service Charges of RM 3 per room per night for all hotel categories, effective January 1, 2025, in accordance with the Perak Hotels Regulations 2024. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these improvements. Aircon was broken in the main bedroom. It was fixed the following day. The water filter didn't work and they charged for coffee pods in the room.

Close to nature environment. Park well maintained. Decent stay

Cleanliness of the unit - especially kitchen. No washing detergent provided. Plates seems to be oily. House keeping staff did not removed the cockroach from the room beside the kitchen, Unit does have some smell of cockroaches sometimes, especially kitchen cabinet

"Nice views..."

- Great view from the balcony of the cliffs - Nice gardens around the hotel, we even saw monkeys  - Unique pool and clean - Enormous room, would easily fit a large family. Large fridge and a water filter.  - Great for Children/families  - 5 mins from the Hot Springs spa

- Hotel could do with a bit of an update, slightly dated  - Hotel is a bit far from the centre of ipoh, about a 20 minute Grab ride to the centre. And often you would have to wait for a grab to drive from the centre to pick you up.  - The breakfast system was confusing with different time slots and you had to pick your time upon check-in which was odd. And breakfast was very mediocre.  - You had to have 300 RM cash deposit upon check in, they do not take credit card. Just something to be aware of.
