LITTLE HAVEN 1 Bedroom House sought after area

The location is fantastic, the bed was very comfy and the whole house was very clean!

The hosts have done a good job on making this old cottage as nice as it could be.

But at the end of the day it is an old property on a main road.

Convenient access to both Topsham town centre and bus to Exeter

Kitchen essentials provided, comfy bed, plenty of heating & hot water

Topsham is lovely and the property is in easy reach of the town centre, restaurants etc. The heating worked well so the property was warm.

Traffic noise is unavoidable as the house is right on a busy road. It was impossible to park outside to unload the car, and local parking is very restricted (which is a good thing but not very practical for visitors). There is only one place to sit in any degree of comfort - a two-seater sofa. There is nowhere to hang coats which is particularly annoying in bad weather. The property was not very clean in places eg the oven was filthy and the bathroom needed a good clean around the edges. No mirrors in the bedroom. Only one wine glass (not great on New Year's Eve!). A sun-room is mentioned on the AirBandB write-up - this is in fact a completely empty back porch - nothing to sit on and not usable in winter as no heat.

The cottage was perfect for our short stay and the hosts were in touch to make sure we had arrived and that everything was as we wished. The location is perfect and the facilities are great giving you a homely feel for your stay. Will would certainly recommend this accommodation, so long as you're not planning on visiting the times we plan to over the next year. :D
