The location was a short walk to the beach

The sofa beds were uncomfortable, the handle on the toilet door was broken, the toilet flush wasn't working correctly, and the shower was either way too hot or way too cold. But these weren't major issues

Great location to boscombe beach and about 5 minute drive to bouremouth beach.

The apartment corridors stinks of weed which stinks the whole apartment out. The bedroom which we slept in last night was the worst we could smell it all night. Very small apartment isn’t really suitable for 4 people more like 2 the sofa bed isn’t really a sofa bed.

Nice location, very close to the beach, only few minutes away, parking was easy to find, there s loads of streets nearby where you can park.It was quiet at night, no noise coming from outside.Sheets were clean, washing machine with dryer which was very handy

Wasn't very clean, but I think it was the cleaner's fault, not the owners, as you could see that the apartment it's been cleaned, but not properly, toilet seat was very dirty

I’m afraid I was very disappointed with our recent stay, and also very concerned about our safety. I paid over £800 for a flat really only suited to two people, not a family of 4. I chose the property because it was self-catering, planning on saving money by cooking meals most evenings. However, I didn’t use the oven once as the pans provided were old and dirty, and there wasn’t enough space for my family to sit down and share a meal together. The crockery and utensils provided were the absolute bare minimum to get by - it really wasn’t a fully operational kitchen. The sink plug didn’t fit, meaning I couldn’t wash up properly. In addition: There was sand on the floors when we arrived There weren’t enough towels or bedding provided, I had to request more so that my sons had somewhere to sleep and towels to use There was no brush or broom provided, so I had to use our clothes to sweep the sand off the floors each day The leg of one of the sofa beds was broken, meaning my son had to be very careful when sleeping The mattress on the main bed was poor, rolling me and one of my sons into each other at night The shower door was very stiff meaning my sons couldn’t close it properly by themselves, and I hurt my hand trying to close it The bathroom really wasn’t big enough for a family to use (the sink was tiny and splashed water all over the floor when washing) On Tuesday morning the electricity cut off because it hadn’t been topped up, I had to wait for someone to come and top up the meter, delaying our plans that day On Wednesday morning two men came to check the front door of the flat for fire compliance - it was not compliant, making me nervous about my family sleeping there (the flat is on the top floor, only accessible by 4 separate flights of stairs) - I couldn’t sleep Wednesday or Thursday nights because I was so worried about it We had to walk through a fug of marijuana smoke every time we left the flat and came home again, we could even smell it inside the flat

The hosts were as helpful as they could be but the flat was terrible. I liked that the bedding was washed. And the oven and microwave were clean. Hosts also answered messages at any time and tried to apologise for smell, mess and broken items. The hosts were the best part about the apartment, as the place itself was shocking

So much, where to start?? Firstly finding the door once you entered the flat was like a crystal maze mission. Parking was so hard, all surrounding free roads were full at the height of summer and local paid parking was max 3 hours stay. There was no where to park and unpack belongings or children, we risked parking in a residents bay for the night and moved it at 7am before beach go-ers filled the streets. The toilet was broken and didn't flush (told the host and they fixed it straight away). The shower didn't work and was stuck on lava mode (told the hosts and they fixed this with the toilet). There was rubbish left in cupboards. Plates were dirty back in cupboards. Shelf on fridge has a weird sticky substance on it. Sofa beds were so uncomfortable and made for children ideally. The flat stank of weed as the other accomodation within the building is evidently used as a drug pick up location (got asked about this twice whilst trying to get my children up the 4000 flights of stairs to find the room). Bedding not ironed (but at least clean). Radiator hanging off wall and picture missing from another wall (host did pre warn that the previous guests had left the residence in a state and apologised. Didn't effect our stay but added to the picture of the place). Walls scuffed and chipped, light fittings grimey, lampshades hit the doors when you open them. Dining table only seats 2 but you can book the accomodation for 4. It rained all weekend but we couldn't sit at a table and play cards as only 2 stalls, let alone eat a family meal. Overall a disaster. Not the weekend celebrating our 10 anniversary as we imagined. When booking there were no reviews as it was new to booking.com. I couldn't stay here again
