The nice thing was that we were right in the square the only thing that we had a car and it was a walk to park. The car and parking was expensive.

Beautiful flat, tidiness, decoration, equipment, lighting, location, reception by Manu, everything very well. Comfort in the stay, connection to the central parts of the city, honestly a beautiful spacious flat in an excellent location. The kitchen equipment is exceptional. Very useful, we had everything we needed. Manu recommended us very good places to visit and eat, so it helped us to save time and make the best use of our time. Beautiful views, located in front of a traditional square full of restaurants, cafes and snack options. Parking is 500 metres away and costs 24 euros per day.

The only negative points of the flat were two: The shower was broken, literally, the hose was broken and water was coming out of the wall. Which we communicated to the host to let her know. She acted swiftly to repair it, but we decided not to, as we didn't want to stay in the flat waiting. We had plans in the city. The second problem is that it rained two nights, and a LOT of water came in through the master bedroom window. We had to use 5 towels to dry in the middle of the night. Apart from these points, which apart from their discomfort, have not changed the overall experience in the flat, which was very positive. Please ask the host to fix these issues... and for guests, take advantage of this beautiful property, because it is unique in Como.

The apartment is situated in the city center, walking distance to various shops / restaurants.

The apartment has not seen a renovation in quite some time and it shows. The pillows and the mattress were very old and tired.

Pillows were to hard, recommend to make more options for pillows, also to have slippers and umbrella in the apt. We left two umbrellas, hopefully it will be in good use for someone :)

When we checked in, we immediately contacted the hosts to flag the unacceptable state of the apartment. As well as the broken TV, which had been highlighted by the team, we sent pictures of the disgusting, dirty and unhygienic state of the coffee machine, which contained used pods and stale water and had left coffee stains on the surface; the fridge, which contained a yellow sticky stain and HAIR on the milk shelf; the bathroom drawer which contained lots of human hair and the dirty, broken, stained sofa-bed. After assuring us that these comments would be passed on to the owners, Alessia, the team member who was our point contact, chose to stop replying to any messages and basically vanished without a trace. The property chose not to compensate us in any way, although booking,com were very helpful and having seen the picture we sent have given us a voucher for future use. I have been using booking.com for many years and never had an issue like this or written a negative review - but with so many lovely places to choose from in Como with great hosts, I would not recommend this place which is dirty and overpriced.
