The Bungalow 1A Wenlock

Location and lovely little hideaway . Loved the upstairs lay out . A bath and shower. Enclosed and private .

Unfortunately the hover didn’t work and the downstairs radiator. For a winter letting, it needed thicker duvets and curtains to stop drafts. Fridge needed shelves as no shelves in. Had a lot of glasses but only 3 mugs. Coffee table take up a lot of room. Shame the shower room is big as it would be nice to have a table to sit at.

Though small, it’s cleverly set up to comfortably fit in two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and fair sized living space. Nice, modern finish and spotlessly clean. Good to have dedicated, free parking in the enclosed terrace space, which was also great for our dog. The house is a fifteen minute walk up the river to the centre of York with all the shops and attractions. There’s a Sainsbury’s Local round the corner which was very convenient, and despite being near the main road it was really quiet, feeling private and secluded.

How compact it was looked tiny from outside but layout was good.

Not very clean, got a shock when looked under sofa cushions full of food and dog hairs. Not much kitchen cooking things in there to make a meal with.

Lovely warm cosy small place. Would go again as only a 10 min walk to city. Has a sainsburys local and supermarket on door step. Lots of amenities.
