Location was very good, all amenities were excellent and everything clean.

The upstairs bathroom water pressure can be improved, the water not too strong but overall it’s lovely xx

Perfect location for a city holiday, was able to walk all city attractions, including boat trip and sightseeing bus. Son said it felt like home, so think that says it all.

Property was a little tired but shows popular. Some fans would have been useful as a little warm upstairs.

The location was good, and literally a 10 minute walk away from the city centre. Property was small but had everything you needed. Of road parking was really good and big enough to get two cars behind the gate, and still have room for the dog to run around and play. There is a Sainsbury at the top of the road, which is perfect if you have forgotten anything or looking to go and grad something for tea.

Cleanliness of the property was disappointing, it smelt musty and damp when you walked in. There was signs of damp patches throughout the property and we even went to by candles and febreze to cover the smell for our short stay. The shower on the bottom floor would flood and wouldn't drain the water away quick enough when having a shower and the shower over the bath up stairs didn't work. If there is four of you staying then the seating area is a tight squeeze in the lounge, especially if you are taking a dog.

The inside of the property is well maintained and set up. Everything you need to be fair

Vile smell in bottom bathroom clearly drains not being cleared couldn’t leave window open as it’s open to a side lane. Outside area filthy the table and chairs not cleaned down before we arrived and the cushions in the shed were absolutely filthy with dust and cobwebs again not cleaned before we arrived. Don’t expect to have to clean areas to use them

There was hairs in the bed which was not pleasant, but everything else was fine

Great location, 10 minute walk to the centre of York with secure off road parking.

Musty damp smell from the bathroom downstairs, quite a lot of cobwebs & thick dust on the shelf under the unit located under the TV. Also there was a torn piece of flooring under the central table in the Living room, the place could do with a little TLC, the yard for parking your car could also do with a clean/sweep.

The property was extremely well presented and impressive on first glance. Good parking. The beds were very comfortable, and it's in a brilliant location for York City Centre. The kitchen is lovely.

The only thing that let the property down was the overwhelming smell of what can only be described as pond water in the downstairs bathroom, which we presume was coming from mould, which was climbing the walls. It became quite unbearable and the smell seemed to get worse the longer we were there. It got to the point where we actually couldn't use that room and had to share the upstairs bathroom between the four of us, foregoing showers for baths, which was a little inconvenient.
