Queens Head Inn, Tirril

Easy to access, easy to get out early in the morning, land lady was lovely, bedroom was nice and comfy with plenty of plug sockets and shower was powerful. Nice quiet area.

Don’t do food every day but other places locally to visit

Evening and meal was amazing! Good selection of drinks and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Quite enjoyed the outside facilities as it was a warm evening so we had a few drinks outside.

I personally wasn't a fan of the pillows in the rooms, usually I take my own but forgot. Toilet makes a really loud noise when flushed so was hesitant to flush it during the night in case I woke other guests.

Lovely old Inn the building was everything you would expect for a property that old, had a smashing fireplace and looked very festive. Staff were all friendly and helpful, food in evening was very good as it was a Sunday we had the roast beef which was cooked perfectly. Room was clean and had good tea/coffee with fresh milk available.

Nothing overly bad, room was compact for the price, toilet was very noisy (but expected for the type) breakfast was one of everything(1 piece of bacon,1 sausage) hubby was a little disappointed but my eggs were nice. Last little thing is they need to WD40 the sign outside as it's quite squeaky and we were grateful it wasn't windy otherwise it would have kept us awake.
