This is a beautiful and quaint country pub, attracting visitors and locals alike. It’s not been spoiled by becoming too commercialised like a lot of country pubs nowadays. I was unsure as it’s under relatively new management but the owners and the rest of the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and good facilities. Would definitely recommend the Queens Head

Nothing that I don’t like. We were staying as the refreshments were being held her for my mums funeral. There was an issue with the water going off on the first night due to some works that had taken place with the plumber the day before. The owner did everything he could though to rectify the problem quickly and water was back on by the following morning so the funeral tea went ahead as planned.
