"A lovely place to stay in Eastbourne"

This property had everything we needed for a short stay in Eastbourne. A comfortable 2 bed apartment in a good location. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would happily stay again!

The stairs are very steep going up to the property

"Unloved property. Useful position but needs work and be honest about the stairs"

Handy for the town - about 15 minutes walk

Very tired. Tatty and dirty in places. Unloved would be a good description. No mention on the advert that it’s an upstairs flat with Mount Everest of stairs to climb to get there - very long and steep- not easy with dogs. Kitchen tatty with fronts broken off drawers and burns on the worktop. Patches of carpet missing in various areas. Table at the side of the bed had 2 broke legs, so it collapsed as soon as you put something on it. Shower in family bathroom never got more than tepid - temp control seems broken. En suite shower mouldy round edges. Trim to bath had gaping holes around the side.

"Short stay to visit family nearby. Ideal for what we needed. Have stayed before and will stay again."

Comfortable, clean, well-equipped flat with free on-road parking nearby. Host, Benito, very helpful.

Lighting on stairs - only light and switch is at the bottom of the stairs. More ambient lighting in living room and bedrooms would be better. Front on kitchen sink unit needs replacing. Needed an airer to dry wet washing.

"Poor communication!"

Central location

We had problems with no heating and hot water... despite sending several messages to the owner, we did not get a response, which is totally unacceptable!
