It was a first-class place, but a bit old. The staff and facilities were excellent. The restaurant was OK and expensive for Myanmar standards.

The service was most impressive. Any complaints were dealt with professionally. We had a room upgrade and a late check out due to previous stay complaints. Shangri-La is well known for its excellent service, food and the high standard of the hotel in general.

Convenient location close to shopsetc and a lovely swimming pool and relaxing area. Thought the Cafe sule was good value, but not so i,pressedwith the Chinese. Tge pub was also good vale.
